Road to Tokyo

Join our challenge. The Road to Tokyo starts here. We have set the challenge to reach 8,236 miles by the start of the Olympic Games in July 2021. If you complete 50 miles and raise £50 you will receive our BAA Road to Tokyo limited edition T-shirt.

The BAA Road To Tokyo is an event where we are asking our BELIEVERS to accumulate the distance from our office in Ashton Under Lyne to Tokyo doing whatever activity you like. The aim is to together accumulate 8,236 miles the distance from our office to Tokyo. Alex loved the Olympic Games and actually carried the Olympic torch in 2012 for the London Olympic Games. This is an exciting time to get active as many of us find ourselves on walks and runs outdoors since we cannot go to gyms. This challenge gives you the chance to make a difference while getting active and staying positive during this time.

The miles will help us to reach our goal of getting to Tokyo by the beginning of the Olympics and the funds raised while doing the event will be used for our family fun day where we invite disadvantaged families and families with disabled children to come along and take part in various activities and learn new ways of getting into sport. We are also using the money to raise awareness of Meningitis in partnership with Meningitis Now. We have really struggled during the last few lockdowns however, our BELIEVERS have kept us going and this is another way you can help us to achieve our goals in 2021!
