Online Clubbercise for All with BAA and ASV!

Here it is what we have all been waiting for. The Clubbercise event 2021 in partnership with Astley Sports Village. Last November we had planned to run the Clubbercise event but then the lockdown came and we was not able to do the event. We thought about how we could do it and now Astley Sports Village have decided to do the event online via a zoom for everyone to be able to join. We hope by March the lockdown rules will allow us to do a lot more activities but ASV believe that it will be a long time before mass crowds will be allowed into sports halls.

This is a great event we are excited to have ASV as one of our amazing partners and this event will sure to be not one you want to miss. ASV are a great gym and sport facility that have offered online classes all throughout lockdown for their members and others on the online platforms. Their members are able to take part in this one of amazing online exercise class while raising funds for our charity so we are able to carry on the work that raises awareness of meningitis and also helps disabled children to get involved in sports as we believe that everyone should have access to sports and life.

ASV is where we currently hold our Monday Sports Club (Picture above) where we give access to sport for all. We have many children with disabilities who are missing out at the moment due to COVID. We were able to raise money during the first lockdown to create at home sport packs for the children so they had access to equipment that allowed them to take part in sports at home during the lockdown in Tameside.

Fundraising like this one is one of the ways great things like this are able to happen and we will keep raising awareness of meningitis and getting children with disabilities active through our Monday Sports Club, Family Fun Days (Grant given) and a brand new disability dance group in Greater Manchester (More information to come).

We operate a grant support too for disadvantaged families and children with disabilities. We have been able to support many families in the past across Greater Manchester and the fundraising enables us to support more families across Greater Manchester and get children active.

To sign up to take part in the event buy a ticket from our event page and you will receive all the information to join the zoom on the day of the event.
